Pre-Davos Business Brunch -Zurich
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Swiss Uganda ahead of the Davos Week at the World Economic Forum, Pre- Davos Business brunch served as a dynamic platform for engagement, dialogue, and business networking. As part of the Chamber’s ongoing role in promoting business exchange and knowledge transfer between its partners in Uganda and Switzerland. The event aimed to demystify the Davos Week while creating opportunities for partners collaboration with key speakers and thought leaders. Opening remarks by Elizabeth Sekaggya, Co-Founder President of the Chamber of Commerce Swiss Uganda, set the tone for impactful conversations. Andreas Dudas, President of the Beshiro Foundation, spoke on aligning life purpose with impact projects; Nadia Balgobin, Executive Director of the Local Community Prosperity Alliance, emphasized empowering local communities for financial success; and Manal Aboujtila, Founder of InnoGrow Sarl, focused on the importance of investing in people. Geoff Moore, Founder & CEO of Impact AND Inc., delivered an insightful session on sustainable and impact investing in 2025. The program also featured a business exchange open mic session, where participants shared personal projects, as well as a preview of Davos highlights by Danielle Isler, a volunteer with Phenomenal Women Global. The event concluded with vibrant networking and reflections, reinforcing a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven impact. The next edition of this event will be held in January 2026.
In Davos itself, the Chamber participated in various events, including the Africa House and Trust House in Davos. The CCISUG, however spoke at the Pakistan Business Summit, where it shared perspectives on emerging business opportunities between Uganda and Pakistan.
